egg/ark/bolus
As of this writing (June 2006), I'm engaged in an ongoing amorphous project with David Silverstein, one of my collaborators on the web project. For this project, Dave and I are sending each other things. We started out sending each other words, but things have morphed a bit as time has passed.
The current thing that I'm sending him is something I'm calling an egg/ark/bolus. It's sculpted from two-part Kneadatite putty over matching brass plumbing fittings. The e/a/b finds a home in a glass pill bottle. . . I've covered the lid in putty just to give it some visual interest. I debated painting the lid, but decided against it.
The message inside just sort of came to me. It seemed appropriately akin to a koan.
