Nurgle thing
For my first non-MAW update in quite some time, a Nurgle thing. I don't know the GW name for him, but I picked him up while helping run the paint and take at Origins 2003.
In painting him, I tried to do a couple things I don't normally do. I started with white primer, for one thing. I also tried to stick with bright (if disgusting) colors, and brought highlights up nearly to white. I also tried to be conscious of color, making sure to contrast the green skin with a sickly purple/red for the innardy bits.
Not my best work, but not terrible -- certainly better than the scan shows. I hope to keep moving in this direction as time goes on.
