Mutant bobby
This is another figure of mine, sculpted for the the Victorian-themed ViP 2 show. Once again, I'm not too happy about the sculpt, so I didn't spend an excessive amount of time painting this guy.
The uniform (done in a probably ahistorical blue) is GW Regal Blue highlighted with GW Ice Blue, Apple Barrel Pewter Gray, and Apple Barrel Ivory, then washed back down in spots with black. The tentacles are Reaper Elven Green highlighted with GW Screaming Neon Green. (That's not the actual trade name, but it describes the color well.) The base is, as is almost always the case, a variety of browns. The belt is simply highlighted with gray, and the metal bits are GW Shining Gold (old formula) highlighted with just a bit of white.
This was my second attempt at sculpting a complete figure, and I was once again disappointed with the results. As with any endeavor, it's going to take some time and practice before I get good at this (if that day ever comes). The Visions in Putty shows are certainly a good encouragement to get started sculpting, and the people at 1listsculpting are quite friendly and helpful.
